It is used with the blank firing barrel without the blank firing shredder mounted at the end of the barrel. The barrel is a bit conical inside and ends in a diameter of 4,5 mm. When firing the weapon the steel ball in the projectile is accelerated and used as a projectile, the rest of the plastic material is shredded and becomes dust.
